Can you imagine how coveted peace is for the victims of sex slavery? Dressember just sent out a story about a survivor and this part stuck out to me:
“I wanted to sleep and rest... Mamasan [the manager] would come to me and tell me to approach, entertain, and even hug customers to give me drinks and take me out. Usually customers would take me out to accompany them to another bar, watch other girls dance, and get drunk. Others take me straight to their hotel and make me do things.”
"The pain at night gave way to shame in the morning."

"You keep him in perfect peace
whose mind is stayed on you,
because he trusts in you."

Oh Prince of Peace,
we celebrate you right now. We celebrate your coming, your unsurpassed peace, and your quiet Spirit.
We ask that you show yourself to the victims of the sex trade industry. Show them your perfect peace. In the midst of their struggles and hardships day to day, let them know something greater than their pain and agony.
Let them know how much you care and rage on their behalf. Give them your peace that surpasses all understanding.
Help their hearts to hear your gentle words, let their ears hear your sweet whispering of comfort.
Lead the person to them that will share your knowledge, your quiet strength, and your peace with them.
Help them to know that you are far greater than their captors and that even in the midst of their pain your peace is there.
Thank you for joining me. Scripture says that where two or three are gathered in His Name, He is there and I believe that even though we are not physically gathering and you may not read this when I publish it, that our hearts coming together invites Him in.
