A THANKSGIVING LETTER TO MY HUSBAND

i wrote a letter to andrew and the boys last year at thanksgiving time after i noticed that one of the things searched for was something along that lines. i thought it was a neat idea and decided to make it a yearly thing.

this year i am going to write to them on separate days during this thanksgiving week. today i am beginning with my husband:

Labor Day 2015_35

Andrew, as i look back over the last year I really can’t believe it’s flown by so quickly. I feel like the progress that we have made in our lives, our marriage, our relationship and our family has changed exponentially.

I am so thankful for you, for your devotion, your love and dedication. I am so blessed to have a man so willing to make big sacrifices for the benefit of our family.

I am so thankful for your job. I have seen you struggle through a lot of dead end, bottom dollar, end of your rope jobs and now you are being recognized for working so hard. For enduring so much you are finally being rewarded. Words cannot express how thankful I am to you and for you enduring the frustrations and stresses of those jobs. Through all of it you never gave up.

I am so thankful for your dedication to being a daddy. Nothing makes my heart happier than seeing you loving on our boys, seeing them love you and watching your interactions with them. Our guys could not have a better daddy. The bond that I see between them and you is so precious. I am so thankful that they have been blessed with you.

I am so thankful for our relationship. We have been handed a lot in the last six years of marriage and you have endured them with me without faltering away from me. Through everything you have stayed devoted and I am so thankful for that.

I am so thankful for your willingness to make amends. The issue that came up earlier this summer was a difficult one but you chose to recognize it and learn from it rather than allowing it to halt you in your place.

I am so thankful that you love me enough to always continue to go through life with me.

Labor Day 2015_62

I love you so much and I just cannot sum up all of my thankfulness in one post. I guess I am going to have to show you daily.
