wear it wednesday | volume 18: how to rock winter boots |

oh yes, i did say it. WINTER. here in the midwest (MN to be specific) once we get into November there it is USUALLY not a great idea to wear anything beyond winter boots (although this year is teasing us some and it has been just GORGEOUS up here as of late). yes, most people do wear other shoes but since they make such stylish winter boots now why bother is my thought. i am going to share some rockin outfits sporting some of these mad stylish boots today...



sorel boots honestly have just about any winter boot you could imagine. this first one is from nordstromrack.com and i adore it so much, i want like 10 pairs!!!



this look is super comfy with a light-knit sweater, an awesome cropped and oversized jacket with some good skinnies to tuck into your adorable boots and a classic scarf.



this outfit can be an easy one to adjust to almost any winter climate. a simple plaid shirt, can be flannel, or not, a cute puffer vest and a coordinating pair of skinnies or jeggings with your boots and appropriate accessories is perfect.

 



this is another favorite boot of mine, also at nordstromrack.com. go simple by matching and coordinating everything, layer a lace cami under a cropped sweater with a light-weight jacket and some cozy boyfriend jeans and you've got the easiest of easy outfits.



this is hands-down one of my favorite outfits, i want everything in this one!!! layer an attractive animal print under a classic leather jacket and you have a smashingly stylish winter boots outfit. the boots are classic sorels and throw on a neutral scarf to top it off!



this outfit is a little unconventional with a glowing orange vest over a cute fox sweater but it's so nice and cozy with warm, fuzzy winter boots, an infinity scarf and jeggings.
