Workin Mom at Home \ a very fall birthday

So I missed my Saturday blog post, sorry about that. We had a pretty full weekend so I am being gracious with myself about missing a day.

Saturday morning I had a senior portrait session (photos coming soon) and just family time when I got home from that. I could have blogged that afternoon but I just wasn't feeling the whole topic that I had chosen. I decided to wait and thought I might post yesterday. Yesterday was our boy's 4th birthday. We had church in the morning, a family thing with my side and a hayride party with the hub's side. We ended up skipping church to have some quality family time in the morning to celebrate our Bennett. I made him some sprinkle pancakes for breakfast which the boys gobbled up. We headed to Walmart after so he could pick out his gift. Andrew and I are teaching him responsibility with the "little Legos" and he has been ASKING for some more for the longest time. Then we were off to my parent's for lunch and then heading to a farm for pumpkins and family photos...

The farm that we ended up going to was just PERFECT for what we wanted. It was a very family oriented environment with animals to pet, things to touch and play with and a pumpkin patch that you could pick your own from OR you could just choose from what they had already brought in. The boys were in heaven.

My cute sister in law with their little Oliver. <3 He's really giving Grandpa the "I'm just really not sure what you're doing" face.

The kids like to frolic as much as my boys do! <3

The three grandboys. They didn't have a spot for my belly to fit into with the fourth one. ;)

This is one of my favorites...My Grandma Jane had asked me to get a few of my parents and I can't remember what I said but this is how I always think of my parents. Just laughing, all together.

The great grandmas and the great grandsons. Grandma on the left is Grandma Jane and Grandma on the right is Maxine Jane. Meet the ladies that have my name's heritage.

Me and my boys. <3 It's pretty impressive that they were that still for a photograph.

My mom sent me this photo and oh my goodness did I just laugh out loud, all three of them are hunched over the same way looking at a goat. So cute!

This one is me and my man, actually the day previous but I like it so much I thought it would fit right in for today.

So there you have it. I missed out on my "Love hate relationship with color" but I didn't want to write on that topic anyways. I more-so am excited to share the fall color that I love so much. My little pumpkins in orange, family love and laughter. It was really a special time next to the stress of keeping up with the two wild-men that we are trying to raise....Haha! But family always helps, and it's so good for the kids to spend time with their great grandmas!

I am looking forward to tomorrow's post, a little more fall time to share. Until then, have a blessed day.
<3 Kayla
