THANKSGIVING NOTE FOR MY MIDDLE BOY

Happy Thanksgiving! This week I am writing thankful letters to my guys, letting them know what I am thankful for about each of them. You can go here to read the letter to my husband or here to read the letter to my firstborn. Today is the letter to my middle boy.

Labor Day 2015_123

Oh my Parkey-Poo.

I am so thankful for your little stubbornness. I know that one day in the future it will be such a blessed quality for you to have. You stick to your guns no matter what the outcome.

I am so thankful for your repetitiveness. You never give up. You repeat and repeat and repeat until you get the response that you are looking for and I know that one day Jesus will use that quality in you.

I am so thankful for your tender heart. The way you cry each morning, when we drop Bennett off at school, not wanting him to leave. The way that you love to comfort Elliot when he cries. And your affection.

I am so thankful for your being affectionate. I love that you love hugs and kisses so much. I am so thankful that you love to “nuggle” and sit on laps while watching movies. They are precious little moments that I will always cherish.

I am so thankful for your little giggle. It often lights up my days.

I am so thankful for your camaraderie with your brothers. You are so devoted to them both and I am so thankful to see the bond and love between you. You have such a loyalness about you.

I am so thankful for you having Oliver to grow up with. I know that once the little age gap closes there that you two will be the best of cousin friends.

I am so thankful to see the attraction to tools and cars and working that is in you. I know that one day in the future you will be a dedicated, hard worker and that trait will shine for Jesus.

My middle son, I am so thankful for you, you fill my heart like no one else could.
