Old Mother Hubbard's Creamy Potato Soup
8 potatoes (any kind) diced
4 carrots peeled and sliced
1 large sweet onion diced
3 green peppers diced
1 block cream cheese diced
16 oz chicken broth
16 oz heavy whipping cream
salt to taste
add into crockpot and cook on high for 5 hours or until potatoes are soft enough to easily stab a fork into. check and stir every so often to be sure no scalding occurs. serve with bread bowls, crackers, warm buns, etc.
Kayla's Amazingly Easy Crockpot Chili
1 can chili beans
1 can dark kidney beans -drained-
1 can light kidney beans -drained-
1 can black beans -drained-
1 can corn -drained-
1 can tomatoes with chilis -your choice of spice level-
half jar of salsa -your choice of spice level-
add into crockpot and cook on high for 4 hours or until beans are heated through. serve with chips and salsa, cheese, sour cream, corn bread, ect.
