regardless of what happened i still love game night. i always will and as it seems, my children will love it too.

my oldest son (bennett) and my husband have birthdays a week a part. to. the. day. for andrew's birthday we never do anything big. we share all the same friends so it makes parties easy. we will do a simple game night with hors d'ouvres and lots of mnt dew. always with the mnt. dew. we have gone through 6-12 packs in one night before...between 8-9 people. gross, i know. but it's what they like.
so any way...i'll serve the food, we'll sit down, chat, catch up, drink some pop and then we'll play games. here's a few of our faves:

i'm sure we will play at least one of these (firefly USUALLY consumes the whole time if that one gets played.) bezzerwizzer is one of andrew's favorites.
of course we could always go wit hour fall-back games too. games like what's your's like, things, apples to apples, telestrations, uno...whatever comes up.
how do you celebrate birthdays at your house?
p.s. don't miss out:
