Weight Update and Workouts I Like

I shared last month about my weight problem, you can catch up on that here. I'm going to try and update you each month on my progress (or lack there of in the case of March).

I realize that the first two sentences sums things up pretty well, how much more could there be right? Well, I'm still holding. I haven't gone down but I haven't gone up. YES. Even with Easter candy and some fast food here and there, I'm still staying where I'm at.

I am looking forward to the weather getting nicer and finally being able to get out for walks again. It's a little complicated with three now:

the Creative Jayne weight update and workouts

In the meantime, when I do get a chance, I've been trying to do some workouts inside. I don't have a long attention span for indoor workouts or workout routines and I get bored really quickly if I do the same ones more than a few times so I mix it up. I am so thankful for Youtube. It is the GREATEST resource for my working out. You can find ANYTHING on there to do.

I have done a few of these Pilates workouts:

And as far as instructors go, she is one of my very favorites:

So there you go. Hopefully if I really crack down on my goal to workout each day and stick to these few routines or at least routines by these girls AND go for frequent walks with the boys I will start to actually DROP in weight. I have a ton of other weight loss resources (which I haven't been great at taking advantage of but check them out none-the-less on Pinterest!).

What are your favorite things to do to loose weight or stay in shape?

  1. Progress is progress, and the first month can be hard! Just focus on forming good habits and a positive attitude rather than the number on the scale. You won't see much the first month, but in the second month you'll feel it, then in the third month see it! I really enjoy pilates because it is challenging but doesn't leave me drenched in sweat or catching my breath. I'm somewhat local, so if you ever need a workout buddy or want to chat over coffee, let me know! I've struggled with weight since high school and have finally reached a healthy weight thanks to a good relationship with food and exercise!
