Andrew and I have had our fair share of struggles and difficulties in our family and each one of them were things that we could have dropped the mic on Jesus and walked away in anger but instead we chose to walk in faith and draw closer to him and to one another. From our example, the kids learn – they see our faith and are able to develop their own.
A couple of years ago we decided to sit down and write a family mission statement so that we would have a direction and goal in mind for our boys.
We sat down separately in prayer about what scripture to base our mission off of. While we both had different passages come to mind, the one that my husband received was the one that ended up winning out, the depth of it and the driven goals grabbed my heart and I was so excited for the mission that God gave us...
